Im talking about skins available for everyone on the net. First you dl them for yourself. Then you set up a server and want to ul those skins on the server too. Is author's permission needed if there are no restrictions e.g. in the readme file or in the skin description @ the time of dl?

Do you consider it legal without even asking about it because the file(s) were available for everyone at the first place? How about skins that seem to be clan skins?
