Default Setting up a LAN - 05-18-2003, 05:38 PM

Hi guys....hope someone can help a new guy set up MOHAA for multiplayer.
I have the game installed on 2 PC's. One has XP and the other 98SE.
The XP machine is the host for internet connect sharing etc.
The 2 machines are networked using "D-Link Network in a Box" kit.
I would like to multiplay this game on the 2 machines but am having trouble getting it up and running.
When I use the XP machine to start a game and then use the 98SE to join a LAN game, there is nothing in the server box that pops up.
I have not set up the XP machine as a server, as I understood that yu would not be able to play the game on that machine. Is that right ??
Looking for all yu experts out there to give me some advice please on getting my mini-LAN up and running

cheers and thks in advance
Bagman
