Default New and vastly improved MoH Demo - 07-18-2003, 11:12 PM

This is more like it biggrin:

Here it is (you need the latest divx drivers - Get them from the link at the bottom of this post):

I've encoded this divx at 3mbps this time (instead of 756 kbps as before) so the quality is much better. Sadly, it's still captured using FRAPS which restricts the resolution to 640x480 (but it's still about as good, if not clearer than most demos I have seen - You can actually read the writing biggrin: ).

Using FRAPS means that my FPS is between 20-30 (and I'm used to 30-99 with 1024x768 resolution). Considering all that I'm pretty happy with it. It took a little getting used to low FPS sniping with low resolution, but there are very few "camping corner" shots in this movie, there's no lean-binds and most of the shots are un-scoped (a few are double-taps - That is hitting right then left mouse keys in rapid succession).

Beware, this is a large file (42MB - 2 mins long) due to the higher bit-rate. I think it's worth it, though. The level of sniping in this movie is much higher than my first attempt (like about 200% better) because I'm now used to using FRAPS.
