Problem with GameSpy (on a network) -

Hi guys. I'm on a network that uses a router and a cable modem (don't know if this is relevant) and every time I log on to GameSpy, I get this message:
-----
"Proxy or Firewall Detected.
GameSpy Arcade has detected that your computer's internal IP address (xxx.xxx.x.xx) is different than its external IP address (xx.xxx.xx.xxx). This may be caused by firewalls, a NAT proxies, or other unusual network configurations and may prevent you from hosting a game. Please see our Firewall Guide for further information. You can access it by choosing 'Help with GameSpy Arcade' from the Help menu.
To disable this warning in the future select the 'I'm behind a firewall or proxy' option on the General tab in the Options dialog. You can access the Options dialog from the GameSpy menu."
------
The "Create Game" button in GameSpy, if there is such a thing, does not appear when I click "OK" to the above message. I emailed a GameSpy Tech Support guy and he told me to start a new game from MOHAA itself and make sure I check the box that says "Use GameSpy" (or something similar to that). I did this, but no one joined my game, and after about 10 or 20 minutes, I disconnected from the game.
I am not a computer techie by any stretch of the imagination, so I was wondering if someone could help me out. Did I not wait long enough for someone to join? Is there something else I did that was wrong? Also, please give instructions on how to host a game if I did do it wrong. Thanks in advance.
