[Goodthrust]

I am experiencing very choppy gameplay and significant slowdown, especially when enemies are near or some other action is taking place. So much that playing the game is impossible.

P4 1.5 GHz
512 MB PC-133 DRAM
400 MHz Front Side Bus
60 GB ATA/100 HD
40X CD-ROM
i.LINK (IEE 1394)
Intel 845 chipset
Nvidia GeForce2 Ti
Soundblaster Live! 5.1
Windows XP

I have updated my video (Rev. 23.11 Detonator) and audio driver (Rev. 2) to current revs. I haven't updated my motherboard driver yet (Where do I find what motherboard I have? Where would I find this driver? Would this be the same as the processor driver?). This is very disappointing, especially since I have a high end (relatively speaking) system. Any possibilities this is XP related?

If anyone has the answers, I'd appreciate it. I also have these problems on RTCW!!!
