I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I guess it has not been discussed here.

There is a cvar called cg_acidtrip. Try opening the console and setting it to 1 in an SP game. It's good for a few laughs. The cvar is cheat protected for some reason, so you cannot use it in MP and to use it in SP you must launch the game w/ +set cheats 1 at the end of your cmd line.

I thought that stuff didnt get popular until the '60s
