After I've stolen an stg44 and blown the cache I'm supposed to Exfiltrate the base. After I go back up to ground level and make my way towards the bunker that the compass points at I can't get into the room that it's pointing at. At this point I'm still successfully in disguise and am standing outside a locked door next to a window with an MG 42 hanging out.

BTW, this is like the 3rd mission once you start the snow levels.

Any suggestions?
