Update from Rudedog and the forums. -
09-30-2007, 08:07 AM
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in and let everyone know I'm not dead, forgotten about the place or don't care. biggrin:
Been on the road the whole damn month of Sept, in the following states, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Denver and back to Las Vegas.
Besides being blacklisted from helping EA field test the so called dedicated server files, I've spent any time online letting EA know how much they screwed up Airborne!
If all goes well and I get this new sponsor for FPSadmin I will be updating the forums using vBulliten instead of phpBB.
Even though phpBB is testing or has released a newer version, back end management is terrible and the bots attacking registration is a pain in the ass.
Don't know if I can get or work a style to match but right now I would love to update this forum to something much more then just phpBB.
comments suggestions as always leave them here.
Oh and I know off topic is the place to be, but please use the game forums to talk about games we currently support. - Thanks guys.
Once the new forums go live, I would love to start pushing the site to attract new and old members back. I would need everyone's help for that.

Just found out that I had "save sent pm's" enabled somehow. I went in and deleted them as I didn't even know I had them.
You might want to do this as well to clean up the database while Rude moves everything around.
