ROCHESTER – An errant ice ball and an unruly child made for an unpleasant, and ultimately unbearable, wintry mix this week that most likely caused a driver to abandon a school bus with children on board, authorities said.
Police said they are considering criminal charges....

Police are considering charging Dexter [the bus driver] with 29 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one for each student on the bus, Lt. Jeff Taylor said. As of yesterday, no charges had been filed and authorities were continuing to investigate the incident, Taylor said.

The guy just quit...those kids were lucky that's all he did. He could've drove the bus off a cliff instead.....the kids got off easy.
