Hi my name is Brian and I am a former skater...

Skating WAS cool. Yes i know it sounds like i came and left with the trend, but no i didn't. Kids that also skated were idiots who ONLY listened to "Punk" and were too cool to follow the laws. Now when i see the typical skater from my car i usually scream something like "Get a car Fuck-o!"

mwah: You're basically describing kandy kids, not ravers. Kandy kids are generally looked down upon in the rave culture but still accepted cuz well, we're a very accepting group of people. That's a part of what makes raves so much fun. Even still, not all kandy kids are like that either. And for future reference, a lot of people use the word 'techno' in reference to electronica in general. This is incorrect as techno is actually a sub-genre of electronica as is house, drum and bass, trance, jungle etc etc.

first of all i just wanna make sure if you guys are referring to skaters in general or skaters who are asses. i dont agree with alot of skaters, i dont get why they wear baggy pants, are annoying and rude and pay no attention to certain laws. the thing i love about skateboarding is that theres no wrong way to do it, when i skate i wont have anyone telling me what to do(unless im skating in a non-skateing area, which i dont)...

as for Mike V and the fight. the reason he was in the fight was becuse they were calling him a "skater fag" and "pussy skater" for no reason. i belive he said in a TV interview(for Bluetorch), and its on his webiste somewhere, that he didnt want to fight, but they were taunting him and some other skaters by pushing them when they were skating.

if you guys dont like skaters i miteswell leave. just tell me
