Got Band of Brothers yet? -

I just picked it up today, bought it from Costco for only $72.99 cool: U.S., I'd say its really worth it, especially if you have surround sound and really good if you have a DTS capable system the sound is AMAZING, the picture quality is crisp and clear. The bonus features are pretty good, Ron Livingstons boot camp diary is fun to watch. overall a great set.

Ordered it from amazon.ca.
Shipped on the 4th, here on the 6th. I was amazed at how fast it got here. And it was only $89.64 CDN. Pretty cheap. As well as free shipping. But its a Christmas present from my folks so I haven't been able to watch it yet. cry:
Thats OK, I still haven't seen the last 2 episodes. I want to see all the episodes before I rip into the DVD.

Hopefully it will be in the mail tomorrow (or today I suppose). If not, then I will have to wait until Monday or beyond. NO, PLEASE NOT THAT.

I had it in my hands the day it was released. I had cancelled my preorder from a website as money was tight however walking past a shop i saw it for £37.99 GB sterling, however when i got home i realised i had bought it on VHS, i hastily took it back and rummaged in my pockets for the extra pennies and bought the dvd set for £44.99.
I sat at home and watched all episodes and extra footage. I think it was 16 hours of non stop BoB. Cant beat it cool:

When i first saw it on tv, i couldnt really follow the characters, i would forget the names and faces of some of the guys. i watched the episodes on dvd then the extra footage, and in the extra footage gives a little 30 second movie of each of the main characters, and i was like "ooo so THATS him, and ah i get it now"
so it might be a good idea to watch that extra stuff first.

Yeah, i'm kinda in that position now. Still 2 episodes to go for me to watch on TV, but somethimes it is hard to follow all the different characters.
