Aye carumba! I've been using a wireless ball-mouse this afternoon and the difference is incredible. My shooting has improved by around 300%.
It seems to be a bit of a secret weapon. I was actually afraid people were going to start accusing me of cheating. And that would have been phakking ironic.

That's weird I've used wireless mice in the past and found them to be jerky, and unreliable. I have an optical explorer now and love it. What did you have in the past?

I was using a Logitech Optical Track-Ball. I used to use it as mouse-look in my left hand, joystick in the other, for CS and it was a killer combo. But using it in MoH right-handed it was too jittery. I never realised how bad it was, but the cursor was all over the place. It's not that the track-ball is bad, just that one's fingers are always resting on the ball whilst firing with the mouse button and every tiny finger-twitch is picked up by the optics.

The wireless one is rock steady and precise as a laser beam.

See I stick with the basic left hand keyboard, right hand mouse combo. I'd think using a joystick would be to imprecise, but I've never tried it. I'll make sure to plug in the old sidewinder some day and give it a whirl.
