[quote="Kraut Killer":8c809]Hey kiddies... I haven't been here in a while, and my last post turned into a racist debacle... granted I found it amusing. Anyhoo, I have a question... is anybody here an EMT, professional or volunteer? I start my EMT class next week and was just wondering if anyone's taken an EMT class. I was wondering what it's like and if any of you have ADD if it complicated things... that's if there are any EMT's here. IF there aren't any EMT's... than let's make this topic about ice cream. Yummy, delicious ice cream.[/quote:8c809]

I"m a EMT, have been since 97, love doing it

So, Full Metal Jacket... are you professional or volunteer? I'm volunteer, and want to go professional after I get out of the Army. Granted I put off joining the Army for two more years so I could keep volunteering and become a firefighter. Besides, paramedic training could probably come in hand in the Army. If you're pro... how many college credits do you need to be a firefighter, pro, or paramedic, once again... pro, up there?

I"m Professional, we don't go by college credits here, I'll be applying for Paramedics school soon, hopefully I will get in, If not, keep trying until I do, Paramedics here in Alberta is a 2 year course, very intense.
