Okay, we have an update for you. We have moved onto Version 1.1c with the flamethrower. Because of high-demand from the community, we have gotten rid of the map spawned flamers, and made it a selectable weapon from the start. I will post an update when the new version is up on the site, and I will then show you how to use the flamer in the new version. Thanks.

Well as of right now, with this newest version, it can be hosted on the server, but b/c it uses non-stock files, the clients must have it as well. So basically you will need the console to post messages saying you need this mod to fully play with the new weapon. But to answer your question, yes it can now be hosted on a server b/c it dosent rely on the map spawns anymore. Just need those players to grab it as well.
Yeah we hosted but everyone else sees it as a rocket etc (as you stated)
Was just curious if you were gonna release a few maps with pre-placed flamethrowers on the maps, like you were discussing before (or did these pre-placed flamer units still require the client to have the pk3 in their own personal folder?)
That way you can include those maps in a map-pack and no-one needs to have their menus fucked up when they try and enter every other server with that flamer pk3 still in place (which is what happens now unless you remove the file each time)
