I hope peace can finally reach this corner of the world...without starting a flame war I'll like to say that the USA's problems with the Middle East (cept Saddam) would disappear overnight if they stopped funding Israel with aid.

I think UN Peacekeepers will eventually need to go there anyway...for some reason or another.

Israel has never really trusted the U.N. as a whole, because Anti-Semitism runs rampant through the organization. If they need a security force, they will probably request the U.S. head a multinational peacekeeping contingent. Arafat would not have a problem with this.
