T1, I signed up for a beta program, that for the price of a cable you can get a T1 if you promise you'll write them a report every month and have your connection monitered. I don't d/l any illegal software so I didn't care. Dunno when it's gonna end though. And it doesn't really make that much of a difference than cable, I still get around 200-300kbs downloads from normal servers.

Well ... I meant was if you had a choice between a cable connection or 56k , what would you pick ?

Some of us aren't rich enough to have anything higher than 56k.
Never mind Ad-Bloody-Sl!!!!!!!!!
I don't choose to have a 56k.
That's all I can afford.
