oh man oh man oh man

After playing the MP demo for weeks straight, Ive burnt my geforce2 to a crisp, I never over-clocked it and it had its own fan I specifically installed to keep the bugger cool.
In the process the over-heated card did some damage to my os/2 ports also... Have ya ever tried to surf the web using alt, tab, and the arrow keys? Man, it sucks.
Unfortunatly im broke until next month and Ive already prepaid for my copy of MoHAA. Looks like ill be looking at the box and reading what a good time you all are having.

If your good with a soldering iron, there is a small surface mounted fuse that protects the ps/2 port. you can always try replacing it to hold you over until you can buy a new motherboard. How old is your Motherboard might still be under warrenty. just don't tell them anything. Say you don't know what happened and don't say you think it was from a electrical storm that voids your warrenty also.

Good luck

Looks like a few good tips have been given. That upsets me when my box is KMA.

Listening to a little Kate Smith, "The White Cliffs of Dover". Reminds me of a little Aussie Gal I met in Berlin.

ok, I looked in my cupboard and saw alot of mac and cheese and decided I could park my car for a week and ride my bicycle to work for a week so I could spend my gas and grocery money for this week.. I went out to best buy and got the same card I had before.
I installed the card and it only shows it has 2mb of memory, Ive installed many many a pci cards and never ever had this problem, I completly made sure my old drivers were gone and reinstalled it again, same thing only 2mb. Im puzzled as can be.
Also I got an adapter to put my mouse into a serial port and it dont recognize the mouse at all.
Anyone got any ideas???
please help me!!!!!

I just got this motherboard in early/late december. It has no warranty cause its an old model, I got it cheap cause no one wants an 800mhz mommaboard anymore.
Unfortunatly Ive got no way to reset this bitch to factory settings and fiddling with the bios and registry was my pals part, unfortunatly he is overseas hunting Osama. I built em and found the parts and he made em work properly. If my credit cards werent maxed id go out and buy a new comp tonite... I getting tired of working with trash.
Id trade my work computer for my home computer(after all I am the boss) but that POS has WinME in it and I aint fucking with it till my pal gets back from killing some muslim procks.
WinME sucks!

One thing about Me:
It sucks only if you don't know how to install it properly.
