 Yes indeed Pyro.
Europe wouldn't stand a chance in the DEEP south. There are special forces there codenamed "Rednecks". Don't know how the name came to be.

Being serious, YES they can shoot very well. During the Civil War, they were known to be better shots. Not to mention I can say firsthand they are. I grew up in the South and kids learned how to shot rabbits at age 4-5, not kidding.

Bypass the rednecks, take over Washington D.C. without them. Since the Rednecks know nothing of military tactics, they'll try a retarded defensive and get destroyed. |

Sounds like a good movie. Someone should make one where the Russians invade America and then run into redneck country or get shot 2 shyt by the Gangsters in Chicago. |

All the gangsters in Chicago are just fat italians that do nothing except launder money. No more cool Tommy gun killings or anything. I miss the 30's. |

the matchup in weapons and numbers sounds pretty even when you take into acoount America's nasty secret weapons (stealth bombers, Aegis missiles, other nasty shit like that) but the US also has 4 mothballed carriers and a shitload of mothballed planes.
Europe would not just one day say "look US, we don't like you so we're declaring war", there would be a long term development of events, plenty of time to get good quality ships and planes out of mothballs and train enough pilots/sailors.

but realistically speaking I think there need to be more specifics before we can even begin to argue. For example, the idea of all of Europe agreeing to attack the US is not very likely (even the Allies in WWII were hard pressed to stay friendly to each other, if not for FDR we would be screwed).
It is much more logical to say that the EU would be involved in a future war with the US. From reading material on a politics forum I have learned that the new EU constitution does everything but actually say that individual members have no sovereignty, so EU is likely to be the next big bad dictator state, like Nazi Germany and the USSR.

By some extension of the imagination I can see the US and EU getting in a trade war in the future (a sort of Euro vs. Dollar thing) which could lead to a shooting war. It is rather hard to determine who the UK, Russia, Commonwealth states, and Asian states would side with. After the war with Iraq it seems that the US is trying to be more friendly with Russia, relations with Germany and France are still rarther cold.

The war will most likely be about which economy will sustain the longest. A massive war like this will have severe effects on the US/EU currency. This nations/continent requires imports greatly such as oil and materials. If the currecy drops things will be more expensive therefore resulting in inflation and such. The governmnets will go bankrupt whilst the nations not involved in the war will go rich from the massive exports they are selling. In the end the real winners will be the Rogue Nations as they can advance in power without foregin troops intervening. China will probably also benefit. The government will probably say "Look at those suckers draining their money and manpower. Now its our turn to be the economic powerhouse." |

Well the U.S. of course! First France would surrender before a shot was fired, then England and Ireland would see that they had rather be friends with the U.S. than Europe so they would join us, and Canada would supply us with lumberjacks and syrup so we would be fine there. Germany would be to intrested in taking over Europe after the war that they would confuse their Europe battle plans with the ones againts America and end up destroying themselves. Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia would make it about as far as Iceland when they started shooting each other becuase they where drunk on Russian Vodka. Poland would get ran over in the race to build up armies, and those other little states in Europe wuld sit it out and then try to take, over. In the end the U.S. would be even more powerful and Europe would be ran by Luxembourg.
Just kidding, I do not knwo who would
