I aquired this game a few days ago and have found it to be surprisingly entertaining. WWII purists can quit reading now. Realistic fanatics can too. It is loosely based on archeology and greek and roman mythology. There is very little story line, a 2 minute intro and thats about it. The graphics are decent but not outstanding, the AI is predictable and the few puzzles are simplistic at best.

BUT...... the physics are pretty good and the action and shooting is non-stop. If you have ever played serious sam, this is an updated much improved version of that. Lots of shooting, tons of monsters, lots of running. Anyone that played Quake or Unreal Tounrement can dust off their running backwards and shooting skills for this.

Dont get me wrong, this is a mindless shooter, but its entertaining and I have gotten much more enjoyement out of it than I have out of other more "quality" games (vietcong, jedi outcast, BHD). If you go into this game looking for hte next MOH, you will be sorely disappointed, but it is what a game is supposed to be. Fun. This is a good bakesale game (cupcake).

Yeah I cup caked it. I liked it a lot for a while. It gets extremely repetiative though... I got bored and uninstalled it after 4 days. Although the 4 days I played it were great. The pistol, shotgun, and minigun will be your best friend in game. The pistol has unlimited ammo with is good for skeletons, statues that are out of range, archers, birds, and cupids. The shotgun is the most well rounded gun. You'll end up using it most of the time. The minigun is the most deadly gun the game. Its one-shot-one-kill on most enemies and it fires extremely fast. But there isn't much ammo for it, so save it for bosses. Minitaurs can be your worst nightmare since when you kill them they spawn up to 3 new minitaurs. Many times you'll find your self running away from a minitaur while switching to a instant kill gun(crossbow, poisongun, medusa gun) just so you don't have to fight the little ones. The titan powers are a waste. You'll end up only using them against bosses. There are some very nice visuals, blue lighting, esspecially. Over all its an average game with some great moments. (That's a lot of pussy!)

Good assessment gothic. Thats pretty much how I see it, I just havent gotten tired of it yet. I cannot play it for hours on end, though. And the pussy line was pretty funny.

I am not as far as you. I dont have the mini gun yet. I am in the area where you have to navigate all the scafolding.

Ugh... That can be a pain... Enimies knock you off and you have start over. You'll also find yourself wandering around in circles for a while. Watch out for the pesky rats too.

You're about 3-4 hours behind me.

Set up a multiplayer game. You cant actually host one that other people can connect to, but you can find the gun in there.
