i thought it was stupid for themto include an AIDs muppet because kids arent supposed to have to worry about all that crap. they did it just to be politically correct or something along those lines. they should have just lett it alone. let kids be kids.

It's the world we live in now. I think that, if Kids are taught about AIDS from a young age, not only warned, but educated as well, then they will become more accepting in the long run. Hell, that arguement was probably applied to Negroes 50 years ago :P.
God knows that sort of education could have helped some of the people on this board rolleyes:

i agree with some of what you said. if you teach kids tolerance at an early age, the better off they will be. but kids who watch the muppets are prolly between 4-8 years old or something like that. they dont know anything about AIDS, sex or stuf like that. kids should prolly get that talk later on. I dont think including a muppet with AIDS will teach them much about the disease or tolerance, thats the parents job, and it seems to be a growing epidemic of parents expecting television and school to teach tolerance and other virtues to their children so they dont have to.

ahhh i c you guys have taken notice about my upcoming tv appearance. yes i have struggled with aids longer than i had to deal with a person with their hand up my ass :/
