detonator driver : 21.85 = same prob
22.50 = same prob

another game that uses the q3 engine and runs without any prob :
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
(i think it uses the q3 engine ?!?!? )
and heres something that really dont understand :
i downloaded the demo - and it works fine ...

i have a prob with the ingame graphics.
i start the game - all ok
the video plays - all ok
i start 1 training mission - the game starts - sound ok - graph f... up (looks like a weird version of grim fandango )

- using the nvida det drivers 27.20
- mb soyo dragon +
- amd 1800 +
- 512 mb ddr apacer cl2
- graph geforce 2 ultra
- running under win me

have no prob with other games using q3 engine
- q3 itself
- alice

would post some pics but dont know how ..
so please help .

Did you make sure to run the Auto-configure before starting the game for the first time???
