... I Heard the Drifter Say (name that tune)

Anyway, I have never actually used mods and skins etc in store bought games. So, this post concerns what if any multiplayer problems will arise if I use some of the many skins and mods available for download on this site.

1) Will installing any of the new soldier uniform skins interfere with multiplayer at all?

2) If I use So and So's SS uniform skin and you have it on your PC too will you see me wearing it (providing you don't have Force Models on)?

3) If your PC does not have So and So's SS uniform tthat I am wearing what do you see if you don't have Force Models on?

4) Will the custom cross hair (for general weapons or sniper zoom) interfere with multiplayer?

5) Will using any of the sound mods for weapons interfere with multiplayer?

6)How easy is it to try a skin or mod and then uninstall it if you don't like it?

For now, that'll do, Pig.

Okay, I'll have mercy on you. I was just simultaneously yanking your chain and making fun of the oodles of people here who can't seem to understand what people are saying.

I have not tried a custom skin, but my understanding is that you must have the skin to see it. Players who don't have it will be up against an invisible man. The solution is to use force models. Then all the players on a team will look the same. Since many players don't seem to know about this, and I don't want to 'cheat', I don't use custom skins yet.

It seems that all of the mods unzip to the mohaa/main folder. All that happens is a .pak3 file (or something like that) sits in that folder. I'll bet if you remove it, it disappears from the game. Just a guess though.

using skins is not recommended for multiplayer - can cause others to have problems. blood mods shouldn't cause problems, i don't think sound mods should cause problems either.

To uninstall keep an eye on where you intstall the mod and remove it when ur done i think.

Short answers to all of your questions.... MOD's that you dl form this site are contained in a .pk3 file, in which you insert into the main folder of your MOH game. You will have to try out each mod to learn the affects and advantages of the mod (unless its listed in the readme), and if you dont like the mod after youve tried it, all you have to do is delete the .pk3 file that you put into the MOH folder, and the mod will be completely removed form you game, and it will be turned back to the origional state that it was in prior to using the mod

DL a bunch of mods, and try a few out, if ya dont like em, just delete em. As simple as that. A good mod can really make the game more enjoyable.

Have fun with your mod, and hope this advice helps
