Does anyone know a way to bind one key so it selects whatever your primary weapon is? I tried creating an alias to do it, but can't seem to get it to work:

alias "primaryweapon" "useweaponclass rifle; useweaponclass smg; useweaponclass mg; useweaponclass heavy"

Yeh, I wanted this too.. I see no reason to have different selection keys for each weapon type in MP when you can only ever have one weapon at any time.

To remedy this I created an alias that effectively should have selected each weapon type in turn (similar to yours), theoretically leaving the one up that you selected to start with.

I tried it on the demo. It works sporadically but it's really buggy. No reason for it to not work but there you go. I'll try it on the full game and see if I can work it out tonight.

I'll post here if I sort it.

Get yourself a 5 button mouse. I have one and I love it. I put grenades on the left side button and previous weapon on the wheel button. Now I can huck a grenade and be ready to shoot again before the nade even hits the ground. You can bind any weapon to the extra buttons. It's helped me out a lot. Now if only my work comp ran better I could acctually play the MP game better.

Last used weapon would be ok except you still need to designate 5 keys to each weapon type.

CS has a cmd that allows you to pick knife/primary and secondary weapons. MoH could use it too.

Nope the Alias primselect "useweaponclass smg;wait;useweaponclass mg......" doesn't work.

For some weird reason MoH switches you to binoculars sometimes, even though there is nothing in the smd line that denotes that selection.

Buggy!
