[quote="Kraut Killer":20de8]I went to see a concert on Saturday night, Primus... my favorite band, and they were awesome by the way, and when I was on the metro on my way home, I saw a peta poster. It said "Even if animal testing found a cure for aids, we'd still be against it." It then had a picture of a rat and a child and some bullshit rhetoric. In all honesty, I fucking hate peta... I want them to die. I just needed to vent about those stupid fuking hippies. And then go kill a defenseless animal for no good reason.[/quote:20de8]
 you're a moron!
People using animals for food/ testing for better drugs is called survival.
If you want to torture animals for fun you are a sadistic prick and I would like nothing better than to take you bayonet you repeatedly and get your ass out of our precious gene pool.

Every creature on the planet has it's place in the ecosystem.
I fully support the presurvation of endangered animals and endangered enviroments. Creatures and enviroments that are endangered because of human development is a huge problem and should be addressed with the upmost attention.

 Now , that being said...

We mass produce a variety of animals for the purpose of food and resorces. I see no real difference between that and producing animals for research.
Animals are not alone , we also use a variety of Human test subjects for products , and research.

So , in my view we must preserve as much of nature as possible. We have that responsibillity. But we must also push forward to create a better human race.

it all depends for what, on what etc. Putting lip stick on a tiger isn't needed. While frying up a rat to discover the cure for aids is kinda needed. unlike the tiger. You get my point. |

like when they released a bunch of carnivorous mink (or something) loose on dairy farms, chicken farms (egg, not meat), etc. and ended up killing a bunch of animals in a very painful way annoy: |

All the extreamist groups make me sick. They're so extreme that everything they do ends up contradicting their said "mission".
Take the ACLU for example. They say they want equal rights and all, but the go about trying to achieve that by trampaling on the rights of other groups, who are generally the majority of the population. I hate stupid hypocrites.
