From what i heard and know MOH is using the Quake 3 engine. Quake 3 comes already with bots so why cant there be bots by default? Even if not, then shouldnt it be easier to program bots for MOH since Q3 already has them?

Well yeah but what about those that don't have Cable modems etc?
Besides, the bots in Q3 were more than just challenging.

Your missing the point completely. I dont have DSL/Cable and I'm getting sick and tired of playing the SP campaign over and over. I would like to play some unscripted non mission based combat with an enemy that dont follow an exact route all the time. Also theres some fantastic maps that I would like to battle it out on, and running around on those maps shooting at nothing but air and walls gets real boring, real quick.

Do not attempt to adjust your set, this is a Streaming Freedom video bulletin, the cable hack will last exactly 60 seconds. It cannot be traced, it cannot be stopped, and it is the only free voice left in this city.

i've played games with bots and they get old real fast. they only useful for running around and letting me shoot at them. they lack the human factor, that being good or bad. i just think they should focus on something like maps or releasing the sdk...then people can make whatever they want.

IMO, I think if bots are created, they could possibly be better than the AI in the single player thus, the people whom don't have the connection to play online would prefer to play against bots instead.

Well, that could go either way. I've played people in DoD who are dumber than BOTs, then again I've played people in DoD smarter than BOTs. Yes BOTs can never be as smart as the best human player, but atleast it gives us 56kers something to play against on the MP maps.

That is exactly my point. Every game which had bots in it was better than the other. Quake 2 was eh...ok too easy too predictable, Counterstrike has some ok bots (Podbot) set it to the highest and you'll have opponents harder than humans. As for Quake 3 its more like they have some kind of GPS built in, unfair in nightmare but a decent challenge in hardcore. MOH could change the way we look at bots. The AI itself in sp is impresive, steps should be made towards it.

You couldn't make a bot script based on the SP AI. Bots are supposed to behave as close to humans in a deathmatch environment as possible, which the sp AI doesn't come close to emulating.
A good bot script can offer a decent blast. But not a great challenge - bots are predictable. They can be fun, though.
I wish luck to whoever decides to write the mod for this when they come up to the objective bots. Making a bot do anything co-ordinated like that is a mountainous task.

I think bot squadmates for the Single-Player game would be a good idea, seeing as your squadmates love to run directly into enemy fire, especially when keeping them alive is part of the mission

Hey Strik0r, the guy wants to know why there are not yet Medal of Honor bots and how easy it would be to make them, not your opinion on the ups and downs of bots. You know, just in case you hadn't noticed. You grenade spammer, you.

I'm sure there are many players out there that wouldn't mind having a bash against bots. Problem is there's noone {Or at at least I haven't found anyone} interested in making an attempt at creating bots.
