Well I'm headed to Best Buy pretty soon, gonna get myself the game. If it has a nice Omaha run, then I'll love it. Omaha is way fun as allied, its hard, but it CAN be done. thx

NOOOOOOOO
DONT DO IT
just kidding it a good game
dont know about the dude who said it was the best FPS he ever played
that statment was brash and hurried, he forgot a classic like HALF LIFE, which i still play and i think HL still kicks the shit out of this and many other FSP out right now. (notice i said MANY OTHER FSP, NOT ALL FSP)

I'd say its a no brainer. This is a must have title.

Oh Fluffybob, I was kind of disappointed in the Omaha beach level. I started out on hard and got to the beach in about three trys. Then I relized if I just wait and duck behind something I'd be ok. Medaled it and was so sad that that was it. It just lacks the Feeling I was looking for. Sorry just doesn't do it for me.

I too bought it on the day it came out. Been playing alot with it ever since. Good buy in my book.

Trying to convince some of my friends to do the same. They all want my copy but I refuse to lend it to them...

Hello there. This is my first post here, YAY! Well I am faced with a dilemma. I have been wanting to purchase MOH:AA for quite a long time now, and I am still undecided. Can any of you point me in the right direction?

AS someone who's just getting into it, i would say that it was a little overrated. I was expecting a much better game from what people told me. However, i bought it and its still definitely one of the best FPS i've played, mostly because the engine is good at working indoor and outdoor environments. It's not lightyears ahead of games like Wolfenstein and Day of Defeat on the Half Life engine, but its impressive. Especially since there is already an add-on in the works. My favourite part is the Omaha beach D-day run and its the reason i bought the game. I play that level averagely 3 times a week.

The only criticism i have is little annoying things about the game make it feel too scripted. Like not being able to choose a weapons loadout because i presonally prefer the M1 to any SMG, it makes the game seem so much more frantic.
or having such seemingly open levels that really, seem to suffer from the same problems as wolfenstien with regards to not having any option as to where to go next (particularly obvious in sniper alley level)

Personally i feel they should have stuck away from the lone gun feel of wolfenstien and made it feel like there was constantly a war around you escalating as u approached D-Day and Berlin by having objectives that are optional, maybe a time limit to levels, and heck, maybe a command and conquer style map as to the progress of the war, (the intro kinda made me hope that was going to happen),

Anyway, there are all things that maybe they will consider for part 2.

it's still a very enjoyable game.....buy it
