i watched the first one on show case couplem onths ago, trekkies are fans of the orginal series, and the trekkers are the so called "NEW BLOOD" FOR THE NEWER SHOWS.

I dunno i think star trek is better then "outback jack", "who will marry my papa?", "the gottis", and "mini-van mom vs jerry springer" + uber reality tv shows, where they go over "stunts" 300 times before and stop/retake film.

if you sit down and watch the series you can really get into them. Few years back I got into the whole star trek thing, except with me when I had seen every episode that was it and got bored. The science of it is what caught me.
