Something got my attention while watching the last part of the preview movie :

while powell is in crosshair mode, readying to take a shot at the soldier on the bridge, everything seems fine.. until he takes the shot ;

notice the lower-right corner of the crosshair view when he shoots : you see the muzzle flash.

My only gripe with this is if you're sniping, the guns' muzzle isn't located there , but in front of you heh. Just FYI 2015..

I know the reason for this though : standard zoom (from engine commands) from crosshair, gun disappears out of sight when you put the black crosshair screen and the only catch is shooting... everything is out of sight except the flash :P

My question is : can this be worked around or will I have to get used to it ?

Great job so far guys !

Funny, I've mentioned this as a bug to Carl about 3 times . Granted we had a TON of work we were in the process of taking care of for the E3 stuff, so being a very minor bug, it was probably overlooked .

Yeah you're right, and did you notice that the further the movie goes the older the scenes are? Like in the first few scenes(snipertown/normandy), when you run your gun hides in front of you, but as you get to the end of the movie the gun doesn't hide like that anymore...

One thing I did notice during the beach landing : powell seeks cover behind a metal deflector thingybob (hehe, nice name eh..)
and turns around, waiting for the others.
During that time, his garand is aiming at them, but not from the side like the other scenes.. but from the middle, like you'd aim it if you were really there.

Is this a secondary fire mode or is it caused by the booms and shakes everywhere ?

It seems to me that when his rifle is in the middle of the screen, he's lying down flat (prone) on the ground.

I'm not sure though.
