I recently just got Broadband and have started to dowenload stuff like music and game demos. When downloading ive noticed my transfer rates arent the best It starts from say 70 and keeps dropping some stay at 30 to 50 kbps and today i went to get the pacific assault demo and i had ac rap transfer rate of 11 forfucksake cuss: and it said it would take 13 hrs to download Ive been a 56k for ages and i dont see much of differnce when i got to download big files it takes for ever

probably your isp sucks... or its the fact that your trying to download from a server that is across an ocean... or more probably, both.

then there is the possiblity you didn't set your connection up right, therefore making it your fault.

The server you're downloading from's probably just overloaded. Find a different server.

I'm downloading it now at 21kb/s - its cause there are many ppl downloading it - so the servers bandwidth cant support you all downloading at 170kb/s
