Default Mozilla - 09-11-2004, 02:19 AM

I see a couple of people here use it, but I dont really know what it is other than another web browser. Is it better than IE? If I install it, should I uninstall IE? Can someone please explain the benefits in using Mozilla? Also, are there any extras I should install with Mozilla, like this firefox or thunderbird thing?

Mozilla = Browser, Email/newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editor all rolled into one package. (but you can do a custom install and leave things out if you wish)

Mozilla Firefox = Web browser

Mozilla Thunderbird = Email client

I would say "yes", others would say "no". Try it yourself and make up your own mind.

dont remove IE you will still need it for some functions.

firefox offeres tabbed browsing, pop up blocking etc...pretty good alternative. Ive used it for about a year now and its worked great

/waits for the IE jizz hounds like judas and Gerv to reply
