[quote="TGB!":9b7dd]Stewart was not funny. Only the most partisan hacks can call that getting "owned". He ragged on Carlsons Bow Tie and called him a dick - ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh BURN! rolleyes:
Carlson baited the geriatric non-funny-man and Stewart fell for it.[/quote:9b7dd]
The shit that comes out of your mouth amazes me, but affirm one point you made. Stewart making personal attacks may not be ownage in your eyes, but 99% of the interviews he does with people like O'Reilly and other political idealists he always outsmarts them. They try to back him in a corner and force their ridiculous commentaries and Stewart will have none of it. He fires back with original and witty rhetoric and this is due to the media underestimating him. He is smarter then he lets on, and he has the ability to use this knowledge to lure his opponents into a false sense of security. Stewart was on their playground, and they felt they could get him to stumble and attack his show and force their partisan views down his throat, and they were wrong.
