Hopefully all their oil. Damn gas prices are getting to high in the US. As for the death sentance for weed. We should do that in the US. It would cut way back on the dealers on the corners not to mention the surplus population in this country. rock:

Should the woman be severly punished for smuggling drugs into the country and for attempted dealing? Yes. Should she be executed for it? No.

How is removing a regime thats retarding world peace a societal difference of opinion? If Indonesias actions were threatening the world at large then yes it would be time to evaluate this action in the same light. Its not.[/quote:425a2]

rofl... good point, it is a bit of a bad comparison... my point is that everywhere in the world is different and sometimes we (the western world) assume that everyone strives to be like us, which many do, but many don't... I guess I've always thought that democracy was something that couldn't be forced on people, I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens...

I actually agree with that at this point in time. Anyways, to stay on topic, while this womans possible punishment is very extreme and inhumane, the fact is that countries dont always have the same values as we do. It is aslo widely known that marijuana traffiking and useage is considered a very large offense in some countries, especially Indonesia and Singapore. If shes guilty, she owes her death to her own stupididy rather than on the government that executes her.

you are probably the same ones who sold you the dope, Indonesia is and
has been one of the most corrupt regimes on the planet, so when they come
on with this type of holier than thou bullshit their hypocracy is even more nauseating.

...they were well and truly under the worlds scrutiny and were told to GTFO,
which, after destroying everything in the country, they did. Then they sent
a bill to the devastated East Timorese for the damage, they are shit.
