Default fallout from Pistons, pacers brawl - 11-21-2004, 04:42 PM

The NBA responded harshly to the fight Friday ESPN Motion in Detroit. Ron Artest will not play this year. Stephen Jackson will miss 30 games, Jermaine O'Neal 25, Ben Wallace six and Anthony Johnson five. Four others received one-game suspensions and fines.

I really hope that the league, the team or someone who cares about this guy seeks some professional help for him...he has something wrong with his noggin

The players know that they cannot cross the line into the stands. What would have had happened if Artest saw you on the street and started beating you up for throwing soda on him. He would have gotten major jail time.

That's pure bullshit. Ben Wallace's bitch ass should have gotten more games and fined. He didn't need to act like a dick. Ron Artest didn't even foul him that bad. The league is being to soft on Detroit and to hard on Artest. They're have been fights where neither player was suspended all year. Pure bullshit.

Look at the list of suspended players in Nycks link, 3 guys were suspended for fighting fans in Detroit. Solution: ban Detroit fans from basketball.
