even if religion is anti gay,who cares? you dont need the churches approval to get married, in fact, it isnt even a religious ceremony. You can go to city hall and get the license there. It is a public right. These people are citizens, they pay taxes, they can get married, end of discussion. To deny these people a public service based on their sexual orientation is discrimination.

I would also like to add that there may be a genetic basis for same-sex
attraction: what are we to do then ? Treat it like a disease ? Tolerate it ?
I believe in acceptance/tolerance. No harm is done and your liberties are
not being impeded on by their choice of partners so ... suck it up! ;-)

I am really not that religous, but I like to be fair. Religion is a concept. Concepts dont start shit. Men start shit. Do you really think there wouldnt be war without religion?
Seems like a bunch of hte anti-religion peeps here are just looking for ways to justify their beliefs to themselves. I will give you the same advice you like to give about gay marriage.
