LOL I love his little speech leading up to the point when he shoots
and how does a gun go off no easily? I heard it takes a tough squeeze to pull a trigger.

Varies from gun to gun, glocks only take a slight pull to get the shot off, other guns it takes you to pull harder.

alot of people get trigger jobs too, this will lesson the amount of pull needed to discharge the weapon. The reason this is done is that it is easier to stay on target with a lighter trigger pull

Ok, here's my take on it. The guy had a loaded gun in the school (a no no when doing "gun safety") The chamber was in fact empty but.......he had a full magazine in the gun. When he released the slide, a round chambered. The biggest mistake he made besides having live rounds was.....he never removed the magazine.
Gun Safetly rules:
1. Point gun in safe direction
2. Keep finger OUT of trigger housing
3. Remove magazine
4. Rack slide to the rear and physically and visually check for an empty chamber and magazine well
He missed steps 1, 2, 3, and 4. oOo:
I gotta say, up to the part where he called for an assualt weapon, he handled himself rather well for a guy who just shot himself.
The world is my urinal

Arkan is exactly right. He shouldn't have had the mag on the pistol when you go to clear the weapon.
Also i'm pretty sure he meant to pull the trigger. I mean, the weapon is cocked, so you have to pull the trigger to release the action. He just forgot the mag was on when he hit the bolt catch.

I like how he says, after this i probably wont be teaching gun safety anymore, then proceeds to ask for an assault rifle.

I've gone down to the shooting range a good 25 times, and not once have I ever had an accidental discharge on any weapon I was handling.
Wtf, and this guy is a cop too. oOo:
