Default 1st Casualties of the NHL salary cap - 07-23-2005, 08:32 PM

John LeClair and Tony Amonte bought out by the Flyers

Also there will be no Allstar game this year, players chose to just have the winter olympics instead

Brian Leetch, Alexander Mogilny, Joe Nieuwendyk, Gary Roberts, Ron Francis, Bryan Marchment.

Don't plan on seeing many of these guys in a leafs jersey next year.
They also need to start looking for a new goalie. Not sure many more years we will get out of eddie.

Nolan might be bought out by the end of the week, unless he gets through the "hockey injury" loop-hole...i really hope not.

Stevie Y has already stated publicly on the radio here he will only sign with the wings, They are trying to work out a deal that would give them some cap room and let them sign some younger players. If they determine that its not possible he will retire and most likely take a position with the front office. He aint no bitch and you wont see him in any other team's sweater ever.
