Im reading it just for pure fiction. I hate people trying to prove or disprove it.
ITS FUCKING FICTION YOU FUCKING FUCKSTICKS.
true, the author states that it is fiction, but he says many of the facts are real and many people have started to accept it as a history book which it is not. IF you are reading it as fiction, you are reading it the right way.
If I ever start reading it...I could have gone to Borders and got that shit for 17 bucks but decided to save some dough and buy it new from a seller on amazon.com for 12 bucks

I read it and really enjoyed it. I'm catholic and had no problem with the book. It simply offers alternative opinions about religious symbolism and art. If you haven't started, read Angels and Demons first. Its Dan Brown's first book and in my opinion better than DaVinci Code. The DaVinci Code also references some of the things in Angels and Demons even though it is not technically a prequel. His two other books aren't bad either (Deception Point and Digital Fortress) if you have the time.

i read this book and his other book called 'angels and demons.' same character, but differant story. both are really interesting books but the author has a habit of getting sleepy and letting someone else finish the ending because the endings in both books sucked imo.
