Hello Guys,

This is just a quick note to say I'm getting tired of games where people seemed to have suffered a major sense of humour failure. Banter, jokes & good humoured exchanges are a great part of the game we shoud keep it up. It is a game afterall.

Also, what is up with people's names. How many times do players enter with names like "MrUpYourBum", "NiggerKiller" or "DrippyFlange". For God's sake - it's pretty pathetic....I'm not easily offended but sometimes you got to think what is going on with these guys???

Overall, I 've had some great multiplayer games but I do think we need to keep the humour there and perhaps get a bit more mature on the crappy names....

I say because of the names you mention is the lack of supervision or there is no one around when there needs to be. Inappropriate names on most servers now wont even get in beacuse they get kicked for a bad word in the above names. Lets say player X who has a name like MR.ShitHead wont even get in to the server because of a program that kicks iinapporpriate names. ITs the lack of supervision and parental guidance is why you see dumb ass names like this.If we didnt have Auto kick software us admin's would have a hell of a time kicking 3 or more players out of the servers beacuse of crappy names. fire2:

Default Conduct in MOHAA or lack thereof - 08-25-2002, 12:05 PM

I completely agree with the author that started this thread.

The game is populatet with stupid little fucked up boys that think the can get away with anything. Just played a guy that called himself "I will kill your ass", what kind of signal is that to sendt to your fellow players.

People really have a hard time getting into the atmosphere of the game, for many its just a chance to getof. Why the hell is it so hard to come up with a name that reminds people of the eara the game is based upon?? I know its only a game and not supposed to be realistic. But when people call themselvs "Fucker" and the like, well then i am not going to be to polite to you. Names like that do not ad to the game. Also why the hell do people want to have player skins that look like people in an office?? Are we playing MOHHA or do you have some sort of issue with you employer?? BTW i know my online name is not complete cousher but its a fun name. I am a badass but in a good way.

I am constantly amazed about the swedish players. They er mostly very polite, very helpfull and have a great sence of humor too. No i am danish and no again its not something you eat :-) We need something like a "code of conduct" in MOHAA. Kind of 10 golden rules of behavior to ensure a good game for all. As long as it is fucked up little boys that rules everything the game will die and thats a shame. Here is an example:

1. Thou shall have a sence of humor.
2. Thou will help your team mates.
3. Thou will banter with the other team.
4. Thou shall not TK.
ect .
ect..

Every clan site should have this code of conduct on their clan site.
I will make you all a bet. None of the above will ever happen and the game will die - prove me wrong i dare you.

Amen brother!

Many times I've taken on 2 or three opponents while my other tema mates stand in the doorway or suddenly change their minds, yet the other way round I am right there to back them up.

Some servers are better than others for the mallarky that is described above, but if someone has an offensive or aggressive name, doesn't it make it much more satisfying to blow them away?

I totaly agree , I've seen some really messed up names around , and not just the players , some of the servers are bad too . I don't even try to join a server with a name that offends me ( I don't offend easily ) , of course that might be their intent. This is why I play on the aa.com server 98% of the time , they have fairly strict rules and if you break them you're banned , this keeps the server a nice place to play for all ages. I've also never quite understood why people feel the need to keep changing their name all the time , I picked this one when I joined the forum and typed it in the MP box in the game and haven't touched it since.

Agreed. The best way to stay clear of these disruptive players is simply to find a server that will not tolerate them, and stick server. Public servers and most Clan servers don't have that many admins to watch player's activity, but others will. Just look for a good one, and stay with it! biggrin:
