Just my luck ! -

I was playing basketball and taking some folks to school... everything was
going well until I went for the lay-up (burning 3 fools in the process) and
sorta stopped at the last guy for one reason: my fucking ankle snapped!
I had to stop playing and had trouble walking on it. Went to the hospital
and although the doctor didn't see any damage, I still need crutches for
3 or 4 days...
This sucks. My mobility is limited to getting out of bed, struggling to go to
the bathroom and kitchen.
Lord knows when I'll be able to play ball again... cry: cry: cry: cry: cry:
EDIT: You know the drill Sloi, no swearing in thread topic. BW.

Ha ha ha... You should have seen my ankle from playing paintball. I landed full force on my ankle from a jump over a log... only my ankle was side ways. By the time i was carried from the field my ankle was the size of a softball. I couldnt walk for 4 days, and couldnt wear a shoe for a week, it wouldnt fit in one. Still hurts to this day when i do certain things. You should have seen it, it was some bitchin ass colors. I should have taken photo's, but hind sight is 20/20.

I had a cast up to my elbow for 4 weeks and when i go tthat off my arm was bent weird and the x ray determined that it had healed wrong so they had to rebrake it. They rebroke it and casted me up to my shoulder for 3 weeks...then another 4 weeks in a elbow cast...then another 2 weeks in a cast i can remove to take showers. My whole goddamn summer was ruined and it was a bitch playin mohaa too.

That's NOTHING. Two days earlier, June 6th, I got shot at, trying to invade the beaches of Normandy.

About a year ago I was playing basketball with some friends and on the way for a layup someone got under me when I came down. I landed on there foot and dislocated my ankle, it was flipped up to the inside of my leg. The bad part was when I came down I didn't know It was hurt until I took another step and I didn't have a foot to stand on and fell to the floor.
I was in a cast for a month and couldn't walk for a week after they took it off. Haven't played basketball since, to scared it will happen again.

You sure you won't go with 20% on the left and 80% on the right?
I once broke my leg sliding into homeplate. The stupid catcher was blocking the plate, and Little League's got this rule that makes you slide into the base; you can't run them over.

I did the same crap to my ankle in football; playing on the street, went to go catch a bomb in the endzone with 2 other recievers and 3 defenders. We all jumped for it, I landed wrong and my ankle made a pop. It sucked. I sprained it bad, and couldn't walk for like 4 days without support.
