Buying a Laptop, suggestions. -

Well now that I am out Basic I have free time anda little money to spend. So since I finally have some real access to high speed internet I want to get a lapto[p. I like my tower pc the best, but it is by no means practical in my dorm room. So I need a laptop that can handle games pretty well, I have looked around a bit, but I truly know little about laptops. I really would like one that could play games(new games) decently, but not spend much over 1000$. This may be hard to do though. Any help would be apprecited.
P.S.-Man military life is hard, I have only got to eat refried beans once in the last two months!

Dell i9300 is pretty much the best value desktop replacement you can get. You can load it up with a Go6800, 2GB RAM, etc...

Actually laptop sales this year have far surpassed desktop sales. Seems to be a lot of innovation going on in the tech for laptops, theyre more or less capable of rivaling desktops as gaming machines these days.

If you do buy a lappy, just dont rest it on your lap for too long (it can effect you when your trying to produce babies) ;-)

You can swap parts out of laptops as well, cpu, ram drives, some even have upgradable graphics now.
