Resident Evil 4 got named Game of the Year 2005 by the Spike TV Video Game Awards. Nominees were COD2, F.E.A.R., Resident Evil 4, and World of Warcraft.

Not sure... No game this year was very GOTY worthy.
I'd still put FEAR or B&W2 infront of RE4.
But this is spikeTV who gave last year's award to GTA3.2 Piece Of Shit Honky Edition while there were games like HL2 and even Halo2 that deserved it more.

Pfft akuma CLEARLY gta deserved it, only 4 years of work went into hl2, gta nigga edition i think all they did was change the characters skin colour and put in some more ebonics. oOo:

Exactly, same shit different name, but its one of those "must have" games to plenty of ps2 owning sheep. Talk about a fucking cash cow game, they could release gta lowrider edition and have the only change being 1 new colour of lowrider and people would run out to buy it.
