Letting nature take its course the_finger:
Coleman, dont worry about the press. They only wrote that story to make people feel good about being a human. In reality those 8 people were more likely 3 or 4, and everyone else was probably screaming, calling someone else to do the work, or leaving to not be involved. The true heroes are almost never noticed. It's just someting you live with knowing you did the right thing.
I hope nothing comes back to haunt you in the lawsuit form. That would be retarded. Id at least check to see if you are covered by a good samaritan law. And if somehow the kid tries to sue you Inform him you, or someone you know would be more than willing ot correct the mistake of letting him live.

Nice 1 Coleman, good shit. I've never really done much to help anyone, I've seen someone be seriously injured in front of me at a party when I was younger and I didn't do anything, the guy later died from it in hospital.
You're a good man Derek

I do have one story that I don't think i ever shared with you guys here.
When i was only 10, i was delivering papers with my older brother when we came across a lady screaming. She was trying to climb a fence into someones backyard. We asked what was wrong. The only thing she could muster was "please go and see if my son is in the pool". All i remember was seeing this lil' 3 yr old kid on the other side of the fence crying. We scaled the fence and ran up to the pool. There he was, lying face down at the bottom of the 4' pool. I asked my bro what should we do. He told me to jump in and scoop him up. I dove in and scooped up the lil' fella by his armpits and brought him to the side of the pool where my brother was waiting. He lifted the kid out of the pool and layed him on the grass. I hopped out of the pool and saw him foaming from the mouth. At that time, another lady appears and tells me to go into her house and call 911 as she begins CPR. I remember standing in this lady's kitchen dripping all over the place as my brother is on the phone. When we hang up, we leave the house and go back next door. I swear, the fuckin' cops were there already. I remember one cop grabbing the kid and tossing him like a rag doll over the fence into the arms of a paramedic who wisked him away in an ambulance.
Only a few hours later did i learn the kid didn't make it. It turns out the kids (twin 3yr old boys) lived 2 houses away and wandered to the neighbors house and scaled the 4' chain link fence which was locked. Apparently the one kid climbed on top of the filter and fell in. The mother was calling for her kids and the other kid heard her and ran to the fence and said "Dean fell in the water". That was it, the very obese mother couldn't climb the fence.
The childs name was Dean Butler. I'll never forget what he was wearing that day.
The world is my urinal

yep, when I read that it was bull. It was me and 3 other guys, I can gurantee you that. There was a man that pulled the teen from the wreckage as we pushed the car up. There was the home owner watching (he housed a few of the injured people), two girls that saw the accident happen, and two or three random women watching that parked their car pretty close to the wreckage.[/quote:a77e2]
Cole, go to the papers and contradict her story - calling her a lying whore, who stood in her kitchen watching 3 men pull over the suv, not 8. biggrin:
Arkan: Thats a really moving story. I'd hate to have something like that happen to me. it would freak me out.
