Conservatives ain't going to do nothing either, making the university system more expensive through their programs and more accessible for the rich and harder for the poor to get in..What does Niagara College need funding or something? eek:

Education in Canada in MAINLY controlled by the PROVINCE.....wtf man.

I voted NDP, but like it matters, my riding is the most conservative riding in Ontario.....

Funny, the MP David Tilson gets relected, yet none of the boneheads around hear know anything about his past bout in PARLIAMENT

.

1. He missed 27 votes. (2x that of the regular MP. (discluding ones with cancer)

2. He voted against a bill which prohibited the sexaul exploitation of the handicapped, and children.

3. He voted against a law to prevent the distribution of child pornography apon the basis of claiming it is "art".

This guy has a horrible record, yet the rednecks around these parts put this guy back in office. What makes me happy is the conservatives only taking 95 seats, there will be another vote in a year or 2 to come, wait and see.

If that makes you mad, you shoulda seen how many votes John Kerry has missed.. ed:
for that matter, any congressmen, they are all lazy as hell. We pay them a bunch and all they do is skip votes and work on their own re-election instead of passing legislation. And I've heard that most legislation passed in the US Congress is about naming streets, parks, etc..

There must be other reasons behind the decisions that he's made that you listed like he agreed with the bill but didn't want to pass it because he thought it could be redone better or in a way to make it cheaper?
