Sadly - that SIMPSONS one is more true to form. . .although the commercials really arent THAT crazy. . .in fact, they look sleeker than American commercials, and some can run for like 30 seconds or more.

Ive yet to see an American commercial run for more than 30 seconds. Japanese commercials are either incredibly short, or very long. . .sometimes they will be mini-infomercials. . .youd never see something like that during an episode of LOST.

Some commericals in the uk can last upto a minute or more. They usually get cut down after a few weeks though to maybe half of that.
