At any rate, I went to gametrailers to watch the HD version. I'd almost think that entire trailer was pre-rendered, but if it wasn't then Infinity Ward finally figured out how to make a cutting-edge game engine.

Didn't look pre-rendered (for the most part), some part of it seemed to be ingame, others were oviously little dialogue or action sequences where you're not in first person mode.

Looked good but its not like theres exactly a shortage of modern day t vs ct games either.

it'll never happen for the following reasons:

1. No publisher has the balls to do it.

2. Even if a publisher did do it and you played as a wehrmacht soldier it would make headlines of "new pc game lets you play as Nazi" which would just create a shitstorm with tons of misinformation flying around. You'd probably also get Jack thompson on the case stating that games like these make kids practice goose stepping, gassing Jews and flying the swastika at home.

I really don't care about a German campaign anymore like I used to. I haven't enjoyed a single player campaign since CoD 1, and I only play multilayer based games these days. I really don't know what the big deal would be though, you get to play as the Germans in multiplayer for tons of fps and RTS games. In fact, there was an RTS game a few years back which had the storming of Poland from the German perspective. There were even references to liquidating the ghettos. Nobody said anything about that.
