so i fucked around with sampling a bit tonight in fruity loops. very rough beginnings of a beat. the drums come in kinda funny, but im starting to like it like that. props to whoever can guess the song thats sampled from.
again, i just fuck around, im not trying to be good, but criticize all you want, just sharing cry:

not bad, nice sample too, I don't know what it is, but I like it.

The stuff that was added in, like the snare or whatever drum sounds very fake, like its obvious it was added in by a computer, is there anyway to fix that or is that just a limitation of the software?

good work though, I wish I could do music stuff like that. my friend is going to school for music production and he gets to do a lot of stuff like that in studios and what not for local jazz bands in New Orleans. He seems to have a lot of fun with all that recording technology and I think it sounds pretty interesting.

yep

thanks guys glad you like it. and yeah i know it sounds very "fake-ish" now. But yes theres ways to make it blend a bit by playing with the mixer effects like the compressor, reverb, flanger, etc.. im not very good at it tho
