Nice to see they certainly went all out on the systems to test the game, saying that though it at least shows that the games more than playable on lower end machines.
Still amazed about the mp having 12 friggin players, that needs bumped up asap so its upto the server owner how many can be accomadated. Minimum of 32 imo, 12 is a joke.
Suppose theres the possibility of adding more mp maps via patches, with some luck stalingrad makes it in somehow...without the glitchy corridor would be preferable.

EA asked and this is what Nv sent them. You would think Nv would send higher systems but like you said, it's nice to test on a mid level system
Lots of things where in but not in the box. many thing would come later as patches. the only problem we know how EA is with patches

I remember how badly pacific assault flopped, all ea's bragging about the multi being more of a seperate game than a mode and it had about 100-150 people working on it. Then they seen the game wasn't doing as well as expected and almost axed the last patch which added anti aliasing to the game.
I really think these games would be better if ea did external beta testing, theres an assload of people that have ideas and features they'd like to see, plus ea would get feedback on the modes (and performance on a load of differently configured pc's) etc from an earlier stage so when the game did eventually come out it would be something good, not something that COULD be good but first needs more work.
oh and:

The grenade hit the angled roof next to him, bounced up, and hooked him in the shoulder while he was crouched shooting at someone. The momentum of the grenade carried him off the roof straight into the air, all the while trailing the smoke from the rifle grenade – it looked like he had a mini booster rocket in his shoulder and he was lifting off the pad. He got 15 feet in the air and then the grenade exploded, and him with it[/quote:c3cc7]
biggrin: sounds fun

LOL yah, lots of fun......... biggrin:
The MP did play like AA and if they can pull off the dedicated stuff then we could have a winner.
remember , my site is all about server sided stuff so I focused on that. Game play was top notch and we did have some fun playing. Some more then me oOo:

What exactly are the loadouts for mp then or are they customisable, that one guy mentioned a rifle grenade, so is it you can have a garand, and a colt, but its up to you if you want frag grenades or rifle grenades for longer range killing? Doubt you could have rifle and frag grenades at the same time.
Dod ended up getting pretty fustrating with rifle nades, kinda like the grenade spam on the hunt, at the start of a round just about everyone would usually fire all their grenades into the one area for some lucky\cheap kills.

you only pick a primary weapon. you can have a rifle grenade (secondary weapon) and a hand grenade at the same time.

Hmm so in the airborne drops in the mp how much control do you have of your chute? Im assuming its restricted somewhat, but as long as i can land on the spire in dv im happy
btw this guys saying the walkout never happened (or he at least cant remember it)

It was not like we threw our hands up.
We (IB/PK/whiskey/matt/myself/bulletworm) all looked at each other and said we cant believe this and walked out of the room into the area where they served food. Sat down at a table and talked about what just happened.
Those guys went out to the parking lot on their own to smoke or get some fresh air.

yes, you have a lot of control over your landing area's. If memory serves me, you can land almost anywhere in destroyed village. I believe I landed on the church a couple times.
Landing hint ... move forward when landing You will great your landing and be ready to fight the second you land.

** update changed or removed one line.
I've removed the line about walking out in protest.
After talking to some of the guys I've come to the conclusion I should have not spoken for everyone else and I apologizes to the rest of the PC guys for that.
We all walked out more or less on our own and met up someplace where we could talk about what just happened privately. That is when Blackhat came over to ask what was up.
Sorry for the misinformation.

No shotgun in multi eek: Probably be modded in though.
Any opinions on the grenades? Do they behave in the rubber ball way that they did in pa? Also whats this 3 page thing i seen mentioned on total airborne?
