Default 3 ways up onto roofs in Algiers - 09-29-2002, 05:05 AM

Enough people have finally pestered me to make me get off my lazy ass to make some more "sneaky places on rooftop" videos.

I made 3 tonight in Algiers. All require 3 men to do the climb/jump whatever.

Pictures are provided below to save those who know the route the hassle and time of checking it out.

There's 17 video's in all but the rest are pretty old hat now and have already made the rounds on the internet. They can be grabbed at: http://www.control-alt-delete.ca/mohaa/

My thanks to Dutchie and Gohan for volunteering their time.

My GF4 Ti 4200 has TV output..... I also have an ATI TV tuner/Video capture card. I simply send the signal from one to the other. I actually send output to VCR first then play VCR back to TV tuner card. I do this because vid capture is pretty CPU/Harddrive intensive and if I where to skip the VCR step the framerate would become attrocious. If I had a 2nd computer I could just skip the VCR step and send signal from one machine to the other.

You'd also want to send sound output to other computer/VCR. I forgot to do this on these past three movies. :(

I don't hear you commenting on any of the "walk thru's" for various maps and such. What's the difference except for the fact they tent to illustrate whereas I do it in 3D with motion and sound?
