i thought i'd represent the double-sided nature of the words. on one side, it is saying if you wish the war to be over, you will be pro-active to protest it ect. like john and yoko did. however, we have seen in the vietnam war and the more recent Iraq war that being pro-active against the war seems to do nothing but stir up hatred between the two parties ie antiwar activist and extremist prowar activists, but this happens with everything in life. i'm glad you challenge everything, because i do not necessarily believe his statement is correct, but i did find it interesting, and sort of profound, yet i believe it accomplishes nothing. mostly i thought it was an interestingly ironic statement because even when peace is the primary objective that you seek, you only find conflict, and the dark tones of the picture were trying to represent this. i appreciate your curiosity. questioning things is a great way to learn

I appreciate your acceptance of a challenge, because only pussies wouldn't accept a challenge on a forum.
You made a long boring post to try and put meaning in your shot with the typewriter. I really sound like a dick but it didnt really do it for me. Especially since peace is not the answer we should be looking for, and anybody who thinks it's acheivable is retarded. Also looking at things in a more realistic light, to want something, you dont have to do shit. I can want a war to be over and not do a damn thing.
I guess I decided to say something because I challenged a chick who was wearing the shirt and all she had to say was, "Dude, it's lennon man."

that's cool man. however, what didn't "do it for you?" your fourth sentence essentially restated what i said.
