Oh man you guys are all sad. This game is great, have you checked out all the features???? You dont like the way a weapon works?? Then change the friggin attributes!. Use the realistic mode if you think it takes too many shots to kill someone. Check out the config file and tell me this game sucks. It's funny, all the Admins love the game, and a couple of you people who are so used to MOHAA are so defensive about it that you can't even open up your eyes to see how much of an improvement this expansion is.

1) the new voting system
2) the new TOW mode
3) Portable MG42
4) mortars
5) smoke grenades (not like Joe's)
6) different weapons for different countries
7) new improved config file with tons of options
8) new communication system that allow you to see when a player is typing
9) new taunts (hehe)
10) GRENADE LAUNCHING RIFLE!!!
11) built in realism (although I hope crow king improves it a little)
12) interactive Environment
13) bash with almost any weapon
14) timed health recharge, spawn Invulnerability, TK warnings, TK kick

AND SO MUCH MORE you dunderheads!

Can you tell I am fustrated? mwah:

Someone please knock some sense into these peepes.

Amen. Exactly what I said in another post. Sever Properties are now UP TO the Server Admin. If anyone had even BOTHERED to even look at the game before firing it up and hopping into a server, they would have seen this.

In my opinion both these maps are OUTSTANDING. The SUB map really does work as more of a TUG OF WAR than TEAM MATCH, and MALTA would TOTALLY own as a TUG MAP.

Either way I am stoked for November 12th.

Overall in realism mode the games very well balanced. If server admins just keep off that stupid leaning while running routine then i can't see there being too many complaints.

As for the submap, well looking at its layout id have to say its a little rtcw inspired to say the least

Usually I'm a supporter of this type of post. But for once, I can't agree. The fact is, SH does offer some new "features" that distract from the type of game MOH:AA set out to be.

Creating the option to change the game speed is downright inane. The vast majority of servers are using the fast settings, making it difficult to find a game that is true to AA's roots. I was under the impression that EA was hoping to add a bit more teamplay into MP, perhaps a bit more realistic feel. Instead, the game is a high speed Quake-UT hybrid.

Furthermore, perhaps it's just the two maps included, but I don't feel like I'm in WWII anymore. There's no sense of being on a battlefield. Remember the atmosphere of AA? The Hunt? Destroyed Village? All of that atmosphere is lost with the demo.

Agreed, there are improvements! But at what cost!!

Well said hollywood.
The game is great.
I love thre fact that they made the game feel like a totally new game and not just some changes.
There tierd of getting smacked around.
There is nothing in the game that makes any player for any reason to have a full upper advantage.
Yea I like the rifle grenades. I like blowing people up from across the map.
But think about it.. I have to wait till I see some newb stick his ass out in the open before I can fire it..
Plus the fact I am in the open looking around..

Every weapon has strengths and weakness.
Another fact is that MOH hasnt even been out for a year yet.. And its already be updated with all new options.

I wouldnt be surprised if MOH/AA went back up on the top 10 charts of sales
Just so people can play Spearhead.

Also I bet all these whinners will be begging mommy and daddy to take them down to bestbuy to buy spearhead for them.

Think about it.

At last someone who sees Spearhead for what it really is. It's superb for a demo, and i'm sure the full release which i'm eagerly awaiting on Nov 12th will be just amazing.

How stupid are you? Spearhead caters for both the rambo-style player and the team-player. I went into a server, the occupants of whom I didn't know, and quickly the host and I teamed up and were running around Malta together, using voice commands to communicate. We even picked up the portable MG and deployed it at several key places in the map to great effect, while the other watched the gunner's back. And it works. It's amazing for this style of play, especially on Malta (my favourite map). There are so many nooks and crannies you can use for cover, and, although I have to agree that it didn't feel very WW2 like (i'm sure there will be maps more WW2-orientated), I still felt as though I was there and part of the action. Seeing my team-mate call out a command, then following through with me behind covering his 6 was great. We won the map against the rambo-style opponents. Despite suffering losses from sniper-fire, we quickly regrouped with the new compass (which is great in itself!), and the 'Squad, regroup!' command, so that we both knew what to do. And all this happened WITHOUT PRIOR PLANNING. There are very few games that I have played that have brought out such game play from a complete stranger... the game just astounds me furthur and furthur.

And if you find it too buggy, glitchy or whatever, you have to retain the fact that it is only a DEMO. It is NOT the full version of the game. Just remember that before completely discarding it.

i like the features you listed, but EA did change the game, it is more like RTCW and BF42 now...

however MOH:AA has always been better than these other games, and in fact has always been #2 (behind counter-strike) ahead of these other games in popularity...

so why change the game, and why change it to make it more like other less popular games...

all we wanted were maps, weapons, skins, fixes, and maybe nerf the rocket...

what we got: nerf sniper, rocket, shotgun, change stlye of game to be more like RTCW...

its fun but i was hoping it would still be moh...
